Missoula’s Breweries Working Together for a Good Cause and Good Beer

The Missoula county tavern association is teaming up with area breweries to create a unique beer that can only be found in Missoula.
Draghtworks brewmaster Jeff Grant says, “There’s four of us, Draught Works Brewery, Bayern Brewing Inc, The Kettlehouse and Big Sky Brewing Co. We’re really excited, we’re all going to get together on Wednesday and brew a black IPA over at Draught Works. All of us brewers and breweries are joining forces to formulate the recipe. We came up with the style together. It will be really exciting to have so many great heads in on the whole collaboration.”
After the beer is brewed, kegs of it will be sent out to members of the Missoula Tavern Association
Money raised by the community brew will go to help the Missoula Food Bank. Grant says that Missoula breweries and taverns have already raised over $3,000 for the cause.
