A south side Missoula motel, The Brooks Street Motor Inn, was robbed at gunpoint last Christmas night, December 25. and the suspect is still at large.

Sergeant Jim Klowitter with the Missoula Police Department said the robbery took place just before midnight.

"At a few minutes before midnight, a male suspect entered the Brooks Street Motor Inn on the 3300 block of Brooks," Klowitter said. "He brandished a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash."

Klowitter provided a brief description of the suspect.

"The suspect is described as a white male suspect, approximately five feet eleven inches tall and wearing camouflage clothing and a black face mask," Klowitter said. "Officers are reviewing video and the incident is currently under investigation. No one was injured in the robbery. They tracked the suspect for a short distance outside the motel but it is unknown if he got into a vehicle or where he went."
