Missoula Man Molested 5-Year-Old Girl

A 76-year-old Missoula man who police say molested a 5-year-old girl has been charged with sexual assault.

Neil Beavers was charged Thursday. Authorities say Beavers told police he touched the child inappropriately twice but that the girl wanted the contact.

Police say the contact took place in August, and the girl was interviewed in September.

Police say Beavers told the girl not to say anything because he could get in trouble.

Beavers' bond was set at $100,000.
