Missoula Man Arrested On Child Porn Charge

Acting on a warrant out of Missoula, police in Utah have arrested 53 year old Kevin McCarthy of Missoula  in Salt Lake city on charges involving sexual assault and sexual abuse of children. It is alleged that McCarthy sexually abused a Missoula girl over a number of years, and that he also was allegedly in possession of child pornography. The Missoula county attorney’s office anticipates that McCarthy will make a court appearance to face the charges in Missoula on Friday. Child pornography charges can carry a life sentence upon conviction.
