This week, the employees of Energy Partners Propane voted unanimously to donate all their Christmas bonuses to the Montana Food Bank Network.

MFBN Development coordinator Kattie Kingsley says the total from all the Energy Partner employees came to $5,000. Kingsley says since the Network is able to provide 7 meals for every dollar donated, the Energy Partners employees are helping to put 35,000 meals on the tables of hungry Montana families.

Energy Partners has 40 employees who serve six Montana counties, while the Montana Food Bank Network serves 57 emergency food agencies in those six counties: Missoula, Mineral, Sanders, Lake, Ravalli and Granite counties. The Montana Food Bank Network distributes food statewide, to nearly 200 partner agencies all over Montana.
