The Missoula County website has been experiencing technical difficulties throughout the weekend, and is now offline.

Missoula County Chief Administrative Officer Dale Bickell said on Monday, that the problems began with an older model server.

"We have an old server running our website, and it started having some problems last Friday," Bickell said. "We weren't able to get it running over the weekend, and it still either won't load at all, or it's painfully slow."

Bickell said web technicians have been working on the problem all weekend.

"They're going through debug logs trying to figure out what's going wrong and just haven't been able to isolate it," Bickell said. "Hopefully, we think we'll be able to get it back up and running in 24 hours."

Bickell said people dependent on the county's website can call the switchboard for assistance.

"The county switchboard number is 721-5700, and when you call that, you'll be directed to the department where you can find the information you're looking for," Bickell said. "Hopefully, we'll get it fixed as soon as possible, here."
