The crime rate in Missoula took a bit of a dip this week compared to last week. Attorney Jason Marks says the Missoula County Attorney’s Office only had to juggle a handful of new cases.

“In terms of felonies, we filed 12 new felonies this week along with some new misdemeanor charges,” said Marks. “I would say it is unfortunately the usual mix of some domestic violence cases, felony DUI, drug charges and some property crime.”

According to Marks, they also charge a couple individuals with attempted deliberate homicide for shooting two other individuals at a local gas station.
