In the tradition of sharing Ideas Worth Spreading, Whitefish Montana held it's second ever TEDxTalks event last Monday. And if you were not able to attend or stream it live, you can now watch the whole Livestream event anywhere you are.

The 2015 Tedx Whitefish event took featured a wide variety of guest speakers. I personally had a chance to share my speech at this event and was just amazed at how diverse the rest of the lineup was as well! From political figure, Andy Shirtliff sharing an emotional and personal speech most hadn't ever heard, to Chuck Tooley former Mayor of Billings speaking about the rich history of the town he once served and all others in between. This was a well organized and deeply thought-provoking day for Montana.

What is TED Talks?

According to Tedx Whitefish:

TED is an acronym (that) stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. However, today the topics encompass a much broader spectrum. TED originally started as a four-day conference in California in 1984, and has grown to support world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. At TED, the world’s leading thinkers and doers are asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Talks are then made available free, at TED.com. Speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, and Sir Ken Robinson.

My TED Talk titled Surprising Montana Discoveries From a Harmless Hacker can be found at the 2:36:22 mark in this video.

Other guest speakers will include: Chuck Tooley, Colin Wright, Jeff Mow, Susan Clarke & CrisMarie Campbell, Eric Hosek, Diana Damron, Rebecca Schaffer, Andy Shirtliff, Miranda Youngren, Courtney McKee, Jack Gladstone, Joe Coco, Keith Brown and John Hudson
