Mike Cooney Decries Lack of Leadership at Recent Legislative Session

In addition to proudly accepting an award for the KGVO News Team at the Montana Broadcasters Association Convention on Saturday night, I also had the opportunity to interview forner state legislator, Montana Secretary of State and one-time gubernatorial candidate Mike Cooney about the recently completed legislative session. Cooney, a Democrat, was critical of the direction the session took, especially when it concerned medical marijuana. That interview in it's entirety is attached.

Cooney was the Master of Ceremonies at the MBA Awards Ceremony. On a personal note, I found Mr. Cooney to be a gracious and very classy man, who allowed me to interview him while he was preparing to emcee the event.
