BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 49-year-old woman who was moving cattle along U.S. Highway 12 near Melstone was killed when her all-terrain vehicle was struck by a pickup truck.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Renee Grimsrud says the woman was riding the ATV on the shoulder of the highway while moving cattle from one field to another Thursday afternoon. She moved into the road and was sideswiped by a pickup truck traveling the same direction. She was thrown from the ATV.

No other injuries were reported.

The woman's name hasn't been released, but Grimsrud tells The Billings Gazette (http://bit.ly/1LdPhcq ) the woman was from the Melstone area.
