"Today cadaver search dogs from the Flathead County Search & Rescue crew conducted a search for Matthew Charlick and located his body. Unfortunately, is was discovered that Mr. Charlick had taken his own life. While this discovery provides answers to his family it is very tragic and our thoughts and prayers are with the Charlick family.
The Missoula County Sheriff's Office would like to thank our local media and the Missoula community for following this case and doing everything they could to help us find answers.
Please take a moment to remember our veterans who face many challenges while serving our country, even after returning home. If you are interesting in helping returning veterans like Matthew please contact the Wounded Warrior Project by visiting their website at www.woundedwarriorproject.org
