BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A fatal Billings shooting has led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man.

The Billings Gazette reports the man was arrested Friday on a deliberate homicide warrant in the Oct. 16 death of 25-year-old Clinton Old Bull.

It's unclear whether the man has an attorney.

U.S. Marshals Service Chief Deputy Rod Ostermiller said his office and the Laurel Police Department made the arrest after an investigation by the Billings Police Department.

Ostermiller said the warrant carried a $500,000 bond.

The man is in custody at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.

Officers found Old Bull on the ground outside an apartment complex around 2 a.m. last year.

He was shot in the abdomen and pronounced dead at a hospital.
