A 42-year-old man suspected of robbing two banks in Oregon within a week has been arrested at a Missoula motel.

Missoula Police Sgt. Bob Bouchee says information obtained by the FBI led authorities to focus on the possibility that David Christopher Glass, of Boise, Idaho, was staying in the area. Glass was arrested without incident at about 1 p.m. Monday.

He appeared in Justice Court on Tuesday and said he would not fight extradition to Oregon.

Glass is suspected of robbing a U.S. Bank branch in Bend, Ore., on Dec. 7 and a Key Bank branch in Portland, Ore., on Dec. 12. Authorities say he implied he had a weapon during the second robbery.

Glass will likely be returned to Oregon in early January.
