Man Dies After Crash into Irrigation Ditch

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — A 26-year-old Missoula man died after his vehicle hit a bridge guardrail and landed on its top in an irrigation ditch south of Frenchtown.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the crash was reported just before midnight on Wednesday. The man died at the scene. His name has not been released.

KECI-TV reports crews were working Thursday morning to pull the vehicle out of the water.
