30 year-old Daniel Shea was arrested on Easter Sunday after allegedly threatening his mother with a club and a rock, then attempting to assault a Missoula County Sheriff's deputy with a club. Deputy Missoula County Attorney Shaun Donovan says Shea had to be tased by deputies in order to be placed in handcuffs.

Donovan says Shea has been charged with two felonies, assault on a peace officer and criminal endangerment, and several misdemeanors. He was returned to the Missoula County Jail after his initial court appearance Monday morning. My interview with Donovan is attached below.
