Hey, this sounds like a fun way to spend some time and to let your imaginations run wild!

Kids and adults alike are invited to the first-ever Bitterroot Maker Fair in Hamilton this Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Bitterroot College Gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public.

How cool is this? The Bitterroot Maker Fair will feature hands-on activities, including circuitry, rocket building and robotics. PLUS:

>The Bitterroot FabLab will do live demos of 3-D printing and laser engraving.

>The UM Office of Autonomous Aerial Systems will lead interactive drone demonstrations.

>Local makers and entrepreneurs will share their products and creations.

The Bitterroot Maker Fair is the culmination of a year-long initiative, involving the University of Montana's spectrUM Discovery Area and Bitterroot College. Educational, fun, a chance to make and to tinker, delightfully nerdy...how can you go wrong? :-)  They would love to see you Saturday!  If you need to know more, call Holly Truitt, director of spectrUM Discovery on campus at 406-243-4872.
