EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Former Montana State star Travis Lulay threw three touchdown passes and the Grey Cup champion B.C. Lions beat the Edmonton Eskimos 24-16 on Thursday night in their final exhibition game.

Lulay threw a 15-yard TD pass to Geroy Simon in the first quarter, added a 53-yarder to Kierrie Johnson with 36 seconds left in the half, and teamed with Arland Bruce on a 25-yard strike 55 seconds into the third.

Lulay was 15 of 21 for 213 yards without an interception.

The Lions (2-0) will open the regular season at home June 29 in a Grey Cup rematch against Winnipeg.

The Eskimos were 0-2 in the preseason.
