At a Wednesday meeting with commissioners from nearly a dozen counties around the state, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials discussed several options on how to better control wolves and other predators. I talked with FWP spokesman Ron Assheim on Thursday afternoon about some of the ideas that were discussed during the meeting. Aasheim says FWP has only been in the wolf management business for about a year, and asks hunters and landowners to be patient as the agency works to control the wolf population.
