Residents in the Lolo Street area of the Rattlesnake will be getting new sidewalks and gutters, however, the project will be closing Lolo Street to through traffic through the first week in July.

Missoula City Engineer Steve King says the project will go from the bridge above Rattlesnake Creek up to Duncan Drive, and will be paid for through federal and city of Missoula funds. King says detours will be marked, and there will be access to the area for local residents and emergency vehicles. Comments from Steve King are below.
