Logging On Sweeney Creek [AUDIO]

 The Bitterroot National Forest is advising travelers that there will be some logging traffic near Sweeney Creek, south of Florence on the Stevensville Ranger District beginning next week and lasting until March.  Travelers are advised to drive with extra caution as there will be machinery and log trucks travelling the roads during the weekdays and on weekends. I spoke with Pat McKinnon about the logging project..that interview is attached.

To provide for safety, Sweeney Creek Road #1315 has been closed at the Forest Service boundary.  Hauling will be restricted in the early morning and afternoon during school bus hours.
