This weekend is the last chance to drive to Glacier National Park's Logan Pass this year.

The Daily Inter Lake reports the park's Going-to-the-Sun Road will be gated from the west at Avalanche on Monday. The eastern portion of the road closed in September for construction.

The closure marks the end of the park's busiest tourist season.

About 2.25 million people visited the park this year, as of the end of September. That is nearly 35,000 more people than the previous record in 1983.
