Gillan, who works at Montana State University-Billings, has served in the state Legislature since 1997.
Gillan joins the race against two other Democrats: Montana State Representative Franke Wilmer of Bozeman and Missoula City Councilman Dave Strohmaier (who will be a guest on Talkback on Tuesday the 28th) Currently, Bozeman resident Steve Daines is the only Republican candidate who has entered the race.
