KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — The owner of a Kalispell-area home that was burglarized in January says one of the suspects called him in late March to apologize.

It was what was said next during the March 30 conversation that could cause problems.

The homeowner told Flathead County officials that 23-year-old Nathan Davis of Kalispell asked him not to show up to testify at his trial.

The Daily Inter Lake reports Davis was arrested Monday. County Attorney Ed Corrigan filed a motion Wednesday to charge Davis with tampering with witnesses or informants.

Davis also faces a burglary charge and four other felonies.
