BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Jury selection was scheduled to begin in Billings in the case of a Great Falls man charged in the death of a Cascade County sheriff's deputy in August 2014.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (http://gftrib.com/1P1rn6M ) about 100 potential jurors were expected to report for jury selection on Monday morning in District Court in Yellowstone County.

Adam Sanchez Jr. is charged in the death of 33-year-old Deputy Joseph Dunn, during a law enforcement pursuit. The chase began in Great Falls and continued to Geyser before Sanchez turned around and was heading back to Great Falls when Dunn was struck.

At the time, Sanchez was out on bond awaiting sentencing for two criminal endangerment charges stemming from a November 2013 chase. A plea agreement called for a probationary sentence, but Sanchez was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
