Kareem Jamar and Mathias Ward scored 15 points each, and Montana came alive in the second half Thursday en route to a 65-52 victory over Utah Valley.

Derek Selvig added 13 points, including four 3-pointers, and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies (7-5), who were 15 for 25 (60 percent) from the field in the second half after going 9 for 28 (32 percent) in the first half. Montana's leading scorer, Will Cherry, was held to seven points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Ben Aird led the Wolverines (6-8) with 12 points, and Geddes Robinson pulled down 10 rebounds.

The game was tied at halftime, and Utah Valley led by as many as six in the second half. But Montana went on a 14-0 run midway through the period, turning a two-point lead into a 56-40 advantage. The Grizzlies cruised from there, evening their all-time record against Utah Valley at 2-2.
