From Garth Brooks to Donald Trump- how many people can they pack inside of the Metra in Billings?

When President Trump visited Great Falls, Montana back in July, nearly 12,000 people turned out to hear him speak in person. The problem- only 6,500 people could pack inside of the Expo Center in Great Falls. That meant that roughly 6,000 other people who braved the heat and the long lines weren't able to make it inside.

So, now that President Trump announced another visit to Montana, this time to the much bigger Metra in Billings, how many people can they pack inside the arena?

We may want to start by looking at how many people they packed into the Metra for the incredible Garth Brooks concerts back in the summer of 2017. The MetraPark's Ray Massie tells me that the max capacity for Garth Brooks was 10,793, "but that included a massive stage and a fairly large front of house area." Massie estimates that around 11,000 people could pack in to the Metra for President Trump, but it depends on the floor setup, size of the stage, and how it all combines to factor in to the numbers of fire exits from the floor of the arena.

Either way, one piece of advice I am hearing if you plan on attending the Trump rally in Billings: get there early. President Trump attracts a major crowd, and there will be folks travelling from across the country- let alone across the State of Montana and Northern Wyoming.
