Health Talk Discussion With Trauma Nurse Coordinator John Bleicher

John Bleicher is a registered nurse who is the Trauma Coordinator for Providence St. Patrick Hospital.  He also manages the Emergency Preparedness program.  John started his career over 30 years ago as a volunteer EMT with the ambulance service in Boulder, Montana. His primary area of work in the hospital has been the Emergency Department. He used to be a paramedic and started the paramedic education program for our local ambulance service, Missoula Emergency Services.  He is also the co-founder of Aerie Backcountry Medicine. John has managed the trauma program at St. Pat’s for the past 15 years.
