Grizzlies Land Another In-State Recruit
Helena Capital guard Caleb Kidder has made a verbal commitment to play football at the University of Montana.
The Independent Record said Kidder, who will be a senior this fall, chose Montana over other schools including Montana State, Boise State, Stanford, Idaho and Washington State.
Kidder earned first team all-state honors as an offensive guard as a junior after earning second-team honors as a sophomore.
Capital coach Pat Murphy says Kidder was strongly recruited by several schools.
The Independent also quoted Murphy as saying that Capital defensive back Gunnar Brekke, who will be a junior this fall, has also received an offer from the Griz.
