In Ogden, Utah, the University of Montana Grizzly football team forged ahead by 10 points with under 4 minutes to play..but, then allowed a 100 yard kickoff return to let Weber State back into the game. They held on to win 24-21.

Montana's Peter Nguyen had over 100 yards rushing and nearly 100 yards passing to be the player of the game on offense, while defensive end Zach Waggenman was the sackmaster on defense.

The Griz are now at .500 for the year at 5-5, and must beat the MSU Bobcats on November 17th to salvage a winning record.

The Griz now have a bye-week, and several players are expected to return. Running back Dan Moore is coming back from a high ankle sprain. Three other players were suspended for the game, freshman linebacker Nick Holt, and starting linebacker John Kanengotta'a and center Kjelby Oiland for disobeying team rules. Starting offensive lineman Trevor Poole was suspended after being charged with felony drug possession.

The win marks the first time this season the Griz have won two straight games.
