Like many fans, I'm wondering if this barbecue eating contest wasn't more exciting than three quarters of the game. But I guess the 7th-ranked Montana Grizzlies can be excused for lulling fans to sleep after an explosive 28-point first period, on their way to a 38-13 Big Sky Conference victory over the Northern Colorado Bears Saturday afternoon at Washington Grizzly Stadium.  Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson threw three touchdown passes and ran for another TD, and the Grizzly defense was its usually ornery self, giving up some yardage and time of possession, but very few points. So it's back Grand Forks, North Dakota, which feels like it's becoming our road game for life, to take on UND next Saturday.  Next home game not until October 18---plenty of time to practice your barbecue eating skills!
