Griz Battle Back To Down Portland State

On Saturday afternoon, the University of Montana football team rallied back to defeat the Portland State Vikings 30-24.

Trailing 21-10 at halftime, the Griz came back behind the tough running of freshman running back Jordan Canada and a stout effort defensively.

Lost to injury, though were wide receiver Jabin Sambrano, running back Dan Moore, and quarterback Gerald Kemp.

The Griz are on the road in Flagstaff next Saturday to take on Northern Arizona.
