HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Gov. Steve Bullock and first lady Lisa Bullock reported just over $157,000 in total income in 2014 and paid $26,425 in federal and state income taxes.

Lee Newspapers of Montana reports Bullock released copies of the couple's income tax returns on April 15.

The couples' combined total income included $133,700 in salaries, $12,500 in rental income and just over $11,000 in capital gains, dividends, interest and taxable refunds.

They paid nearly $19,500 in federal income taxes, almost $6,700 in state income taxes and made nearly $6,900 in gifts to charity in 2014.

In 2013, the Bullocks reported income of slightly more than $145,000 and paid about $23,000 in federal and state income taxes.
