Authorities have released the name of an 81-year-old Georgia man who drowned after being thrown from a raft into the Stillwater River in south-central Montana.

The Stillwater County Sheriff's Office says Charles McJunkin, of Atlanta, died in the incident Thursday afternoon.

It says McJunkin had been fishing with at least two other people when he and a woman were thrown into the water.

The woman was able to swim to safety but McJunkin was swept downstream. His body was found about mile downstream.
