FWP Offers Float-In Campsites on the Blackfoot River [AUDIO]

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks is now offering reservations for float-in campsites along the Blackfoot River. Public Education Specialist Vivaca Crowser says the campsites are now available at present fishing access sites, including River Junction, Corts River Bend and Nine-Mile Prairie.

The campsites are available for reservation on a first-come, first served basis by calling 542-5564 and can be reserved for just one night or several nights. Crowser advises floaters to be aware that the rivers are still high, fast and cold, and to prepare for any emergency by being properly outfitted with life vests.
