The University of Montana Grizzlies have landed two offensive players and two defensive players on the Big Sky Conference all-league teams at the opening of the preseason meetings at Park City,Utah.

Eric Taber with Grizzly Sports Information told KGVO news that all four names are familiar to Grizzly football fans.

"On the offensive side of the ball, we've got Jamaal Jones, a 1,000 yard receiver last season," Taber said. "As a returner, we've got Ellis Henderson, who had to sit out last year due to an illness. The conference thought so much of 'Hendo', that even though he was out for most of last year, they still named him preseason all conference in kickoff and punt returns."

Taber said the top two returning linebackers for the Griz made the all conference defensive team.

"Defensively. our linebacker corps, including Jeremiah Kose and Kenny Van Ackeren, just two rock-solid linebacker were also chosen, and they've been great players for a couple of years now," he said. I know that Coach Stitt is expecting big things out of them this year."

Idaho State took home six All-Conference selections to lead the league, followed by Montana State with five, and Northern Arizona and Eastern Washington tie the Griz with four selections each.
