A Missoula business owned by a former University of Montana quarterback was among 12 locations raided this week as part of a marijuana trafficking investigation.

A recently unsealed search warrant authorized federal agents to search 406 Motoring in Missoula, an auto customizing business owned by Jason Washington.

A separate warrant authorized agents to seize money in a bank account under Washington's name.

The search warrant was one of 12 carried out Wednesday related to a yearlong investigation by the U.S. Attorney's office. Spokeswoman Jessica Fehr declined to comment.

Washington started five games for the Grizzlies in 2005 before he was injured. He sat out the 2006 season and was kicked off the team the following year for undisclosed reasons.

Messages left for Washington at his business were not returned Friday.
