A former girls' basketball coach in Missoula and Darby, who received a suspended sentence after arranging an online meeting with a 14-year-old girl, has been sentenced to prison for violating his probation.

43-year-old David Paisley was sentenced to 10 years in prison Wednesday by District Judge Ed McLean.

Paisley was given a 10-year suspended sentence on June 8 after entering an Alford plea to a charge of sexual abuse of a minor.

Less than three weeks later, the detective who initially arrested Paisley in May 2010 saw him having lunch in a park. Paisley was not allowed to be any place children gather, including parks.

McLean ordered Paisley to spend the next 60 days in the Missoula County jail while doctors treat a blood clot in his arm.
