With spring here and summer not to far away in Montana it’s time to start thinking about replenishing your fire wood stack. There are the normal precautions you need to take like making sure your wood has a chance to dry, getting what you need in the way of equipment and of course figuring out if the effort is worth the cost. Another issue of concern of late is the presence of pine beetles that can devastate trees in your yard and neighborhood.
