Fire Guts South Hills Home [AUDIO]

A house fire on Ebb Way in Missoula’s South Hills sent plumes of oily black smoke that could be seen all over the Missoula valley on Wednesday afternoon.
Missoula fire department battalion chief Steve Paske says no one was home when neighbors say flames and smoke shooting out of the rear of the structure. Paske says five fire trucks responded and knocked down the blaze, but not before extensive damage was done to the rear and roof of the home.
Paske says no one was injured, no other nearby homes were damaged, and the fire’s cause is still under investigation
