Thursday afternoon till about 4 pm, the Missoula City Fire department will be working at a home donated to the department for the purpose of bailout training.

Bailout training consists of a firefighter using a specially-made rappelling rope to leave a burning structure if all other exits are blocked. Fire Department Training Officer David Wolter says the training on Thursday will be the first of several sessions, until all personnel can be trained with this safety product.

The training house is located at 2324 South Avenue.
