There is a new study on obesity being conducted by Washington University that is requiring all of its participants to gain 5% of their body weight in exchange for $3,500.

And you won’t believe what participants will have to chow down on.

Everyone taking part in this study is being asked to eat fast food every day for three months. In doing so, study leaders hope to regulate the food intake of the participants more closely and accurately.

The purpose of the study is to help understand why some overweight people develop diabetes and other cardiovascular disease, while others do not.

To take part in this study you must be between 18 and 65 years old, a non-smoker, a non-diabetic, and be at least 30 pounds overweight.

Upon study completion, participants will be entered into a weight loss program.

Those taking part in the study are encouraged to eat at McDonald’s, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King and  Pizza Hut.
