22 year-old Jesse Valerio is in the Missoula County Jail on $100,000 bond after an incident on Saturday at the Clearwater Campground.

Court documents indicate that Valerio has been charged with felony assault with a weapon and three counts of felony criminal endangerment.

Missoula County Sheriff's deputies were called to the campground after Valerio became intoxicated and attempted to start a fight that resulted in him pulling a knife on another man at the campground. Reportedly, Valerio's girlfriend was able to get him to give up the knife.

Following another altercation, court records indicate that Valerio returned to the campground with a handgun and allegedly fired shots in the general direction of two other men. Again, Valerio's girlfriend was able to disarm him and drove him away from the campground. Deputies were able to secure the handgun and ammunition and place Valerio in custody after he provided a breath sample which indicated a blood alcohol content of .219, nearly three times the legal limit.

At Valerio's Tuesday justice court appearance, Judge Landee Holloway set bail at $100,000.
