Cascade County officials say a firefighter was flown to the hospital via helicopter after a water tanker rolled into a coulee as firefighters monitored a grass fire north of Great Falls.

Capt. Ray Hitchcock tells the Great Falls Tribune a rural fire truck from Lewis and Clark County rolled at about 7:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials with the Eastgate Volunteer Fire Department from East Helena told KTVH-TV one of its trucks was involved in a rollover and the driver was treated and released from the hospital.

Firefighters were continuing to monitor a 7,000-acre area sparked after high winds snapped a power pole Tuesday afternoon.

Blaine County DES officials say a fire that burned up to 3,000 acres between Havre and Chinook was 95 percent contained Wednesday.
