Schools in Missoula’s District One are in their first week for the 2011-2012 year. I spoke Wednesday afternoon with Superintendent Dr. Alex Apostle about how the first few days of school have gone…and, about the decision to have all School District One classes open each day by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. There is currently a dispute about the legitimacy of the recent Mill Levy election being considered by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department and the

Commissioners. No word yet on the final determination of that investigation.
