There are so many fun runs around Missoula, but this one is special because all dogs are encouraged to participate. Missoula Parks & Recreation and Missoula Animal Control welcome you and your four-legged friends to the 6th annual Doggie Dash pet expo and fun run this Saturday, May 6th from 9:30am-2:00pm. The 1-mile and 5k races begin at 10am.

The Doggie Dash expo features an agility course, groomers, trainers, dog walkers, boarders, pet retailers, veterinarians, and much more. You can check out cool new gear for your pets or browse adoption animals from local shelters. There will also be fun contests like Last Beggar Sitting Contest, Best Costume Contest, Doggie Musical Chairs Contest, and the Peanut Butter Challenge.

Runners and walkers may enter one or both races, all participants receive a Doggie Dash t-shirt. Kids 10 and under may race for free, but must pre-register. The registration fee for each race is $30 per person. Proceeds help homeless pets at Missoula Animal Control.

All dogs must be leashed. To register now, click here. Or you can get more information from their Facebook Page here.
