Hometown girl makes good...in this case, that's a real understatement.

Debby Doyle graduated from Hellgate High School in the 70's, and from the University of Montana in 1977. Since then, she has taken the banking world by storm. This year, she was named one of the '25 Most Powerful Women in Banking', and as a leader in the global business world.

McWhinney now serves as CEO at Citi Global Enterprise Payments in New York City. From 2002 to 2003 she chaired the University of Montana Foundation Board of Trustees, helping to raise over $131 million dollars for the University through the 'Invest in Discovery' campaign. She received the UM Distinguished Alumni Award in 2005.

Today, McWinney works with Cal Tech and the Institute for Defense Analysis that does work for the U.S. Defense department.

In her work with Citi, McWhinney assists some of the largest corporations in the world set up on-line accounts with billions of dollars in assets.

With all that, she still likes to get home and enjoy a Griz game whenever she can, and fondly remembers her days at Hellgate and at the University of Montana.
