Dead Body Found On Missoula Sidewalk

A 56 year-old Missoula man was found dead on the sidewalk near the intersection of Russell and South Third Street over the Labor Day weekend. 9-1-1 received a call just after midnight Sunday morning reporting an unresponsive male lying on the sidewalk not far from the Holiday Gas Station.

Missoula Police are investigating to determine if the man’s death was the result of natural causes or foul play. The Missoula County Coroner’s office will not release the man’s name until next of kin are notified.
