A waitress is bewildered that a customer stiffed her on a tip – because she’s gay.

Dayna Morales works at Gallop Asian Bistro, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Earlier this week, a family she served balked at giving a tip on their $93.55, leaving behind a note on the check explaining why:

I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I don't agree with your lifestyle & how you live your life."

Morales never discussed her sexual orientation with the family. When she greeted them, she just gave her name as Dayna, to which the mom reportedly said, “I thought you were going to say your name was Dan.’”

The rest of the meal went smoothly until Morales found the check.

Morales shared a photo of the receipt on the Have a Gay Day Facebook page, where it quickly went viral. It's the second such incident involving a gay server in recent weeks.

The whole episode has left a bitter taste in Morales’ mouth. She said she was “offended” and “mad” and “didn’t know how to react.”
