Christmas trees from across the state, from Lincoln County all the way to Carter County are on display at the state capitol. This year’s 56 Christmas trees offer a wide variety of decorations. The project, which was started 7 years ago by Governor Brian Schweitzer and First Lady Nancy Schweitzer, showcases ornaments made by school children across the state. The trees are located in the halls on the 2nd floor of the Capitol building.

The trees can be found online at http://www.governor.mt.gov/.
