Corey Stapleton is no stranger to Montana politics; He served as a Montana State Senator between 2000 - 2008, placed second in a primary to be Montana's Governor in 2012, and is currently running for the U.S. Senate seat occupied by Max Baucus.

On his website, Stapleton lists, agriculture, education, the national debt, jobs for Montana, military, and the 2nd Amendment, as his main priorities.

The election won't occur until 2014 and the road will undoubtedly be a long one. Not only will Stapleton have to win a primary battle with fellow Republican Champ Edmunds, if he wins, he will likely face Democrat Max Baucus, who has held the seat for 30 years and already has $5 million for a re-election fight.

Curious about what Stapleton thinks about federal preschool programs, immigration reform, gun control or gay marriage? Listen to the April 23 episode of Talk Back and find out!
